Claire joined the practice in 2008 from Grant Thornton, where she qualified as a tax consultant. Claire advises on a broad range of taxation issues and has tax technical knowledge covering all tax heads.
She specialises in personal taxes, in particular, income tax, capital gains and capital acquisitions concentrating on a client-centred focus which maximises tax credits, tax opportunities, exemptions and reliefs. She is also involved in estate planning, succession planning, and advising on residence and double taxation issues. She regularly provides tailored tax advice to meet the specific circumstances and requirements of her clients as they arise.
Claire has significant experience liaising with both the revenue commissioners and law offices to achieve the best possible results for her clients, often in the context of a revenue audit or voluntary disclosure.
In addition to her tax qualification, Claire holds a Law Degree and a Masters of Law Degree from UCC and a Masters of Applied Arts from WIT.
